After he graduated from the university, Isao took part in an entry exam at Toyota and started to work with the company. One of his first projects was the design of the Toyota Supra. He worked on the Supra Mark 1, Mark 2, Mark 3, and Mark 4.

Mr. Shinichiro Sakurai endeavored to develop advanced automotive technology, which ultimately led to the renowned 'Skyline' model being put on the market. Leading the design and development of the celebrated Nissan Skyline series for 32 years, he made a valuable contribution to Japan's automotive culture. In recognition of his great achievements, the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame is honored to induct Mr. Shinichiro Sakurai into the Hall of Fame.

Iwasaki Yataro was a Japanese industrialist and financier known as the founder of Mitsubishi, one of Japan's largest conglomerates. He was born on Jan 9th 1835 and died at the age of 50.
